Why not try the East Herts Corinthian Sunday Football League?
All clubs want to do on a Sunday morning is play and enjoy their football.
Over the last 2 years, we have clamped down on discipline and foul and abusive language, it is now paying off as we are getting more and more clubs joining the league. We now have Assessors going round each week to check games.
We have regular committee and team meetings to discuss any situations that may arise during the season.
Each division also has its own representative on the league committee and each committee member is contactable by email or web site, or even that old communication tool the ‘telephone’.
The referees also are praising this league and we now have 25 Referees who oversee our games with more enquiring all the time.
The East Herts Corinthian Sunday Football League rose from the ashes of the old Hertford and Ware friendly league, which was set up in 1993 to provide a cup competition for 16 local pubs and works friendly sides.
The league has had its difficulties since then but reached its zenith in 2001 when our league representative side won the Herts FA Sunday Interleague cup for the first time, beating the Watford Observer League 1-0.
Proving that size is no substitute for quality.
So if you feel this is what you want out of football on a Sunday morning, why not consider joining us, or fancy a chat about what we are trying to achieve in this league please feel free to contact us.

We look forward to hearing from any clubs for the season 2008/9. We are aiming to have three or four divisions next year, with the interest we have had from clubs already.
