This game was set to be a very tight affair; it ended up looking as if Dane End Utd had run away with it.
However, for some tight decisions it would have been a lot closer encounter, who would be a ref.


Dane End seized the initiative after 25 minutes with a great cross from Jody Sibthorpe that was headed coolly home by Alessio Rodia to make it 1-0.

Martin Guy with a great shot, hitting the cross bar you always thought it was not going to be Hornsmill day as they had a goal ruled out for pushing, which looked like a hard decision.

With Brad Read, Lee Philpot never giving up they keep going all the way to half time trying to get the equalizer.

At half time it was 1- 0 so it was all to play for.

Hornsmill came out giving everything they could with Darren Paget up front they could always get back into it.


Yet again Dane End worked the ball well, Thomas Davey who from 25 yards hit a sublime shot past Arron Read who did not stand a chance.

Still Hornsmill pressed and for 15 minutes, this game went from end to end. Yet again Hornsmill put the ball in the net only for the linesman to raise his flag and disallow the goal.

Then with 10 minutes to go with a hotly disputed off side saw Dane End sub Michael Casey who did not wait for the whistle, smash home Dane Ends third and sealed the victory
