Minutes of the Management Committee Meeting held on Monday 2nd April 2007 at The Bengeo Club

Committee Members Reports
Secretary – Apologies for the previous minutes. Nothing new to report.
Fixtures Secretary - Unfulfilled fixtures:
11/3 - Ware Saviours V Bury Rangers Reserves - Game called off by Ware Saviours on the day prior to the game, Bury to be awarded the three points and 25-pound fine to be sent to Ware Saviours.
11/3 – Salisbury V Bury Rangers –Salisbury fielded 2 un-registered players. Club to be fined for this offence as well as not sending in the result card.
31/3 – Wareside V AFC Cheshunt (Double header) – Game called off due to Wareside being unable to field a team, Wareside to be fined 30 pound and six points awarded to AFC Cheshunt.
01/4 - Ware Saviours V Salisbury – The Salisbury did not show up nor did they contact any secretary, referee or the opposing Club – Game to be awarded and the appropriate fines issued.
There have been no problems with regard to the midweek games so far.
Referees Secretary – A further two complaints have been received concerning referees – These have been dealt with. The secretary is aware that the reporting from referees isn’t good this season and warning letters have been issued accordingly. A couple of new referees have enquired about joining the League and the appropriate forms have been issued.
Results Secretary – Despite numerous requests some Clubs are still not completing the cards correctly or sending them to the correct secretary. Three fines are to be issued this month in respect of this.
Fines Secretary – Appeal received from the Green Man for part of their outstanding fines. Fine still due as appeal lost. There are no other fines currently overdue.
Treasurer – There is £3083 currently in the bank.
Registrations Secretary – 8 new teams have expressed an interest for next season. They are: White Lion, The Bull, White Horse, Old Star, Quendon Athletic, Buntingford, Old Highway and Sun and Harrow 2nd team. Clive has spoken to all the teams. They are to be invited to a meeting with the Committee on 23rd May.
Hertford Town has confirmed the final details for the Cup Finals and the programmes for the first games have been prepared. The entry prices will be Adults 4.00 and Children 2.00.
Cup Competitions Secretary – Hornsmill Utd lost the semi final of the Intermediate Cup on 1st April. Congratulations to them though for reaching that stage.
All other cup games are up to date.
Division 2 Rep – Need to establish which teams are staying next season. Could Clubs please advise the Committee as soon as possible.
Trophies Secretary – All trophies have been ordered.
Any Other Business
1. Correspondence received from the Green Man has been totally unacceptable and the matter has been referred to the Herts FA. The Club is to be issued with a final warning letter from the Chairman outlining their future conduct.
2. Next Management Committee meeting to be held on Monday 14 May 2007 at 8.00pm.
