Minutes of the Management Committee Meeting held on Monday 14 May 2007 at The Bengeo Club
Committee Members Present: G.Talbot, C.Brooks, S.Bentley, B.Flack, R.Bunce, G.Martin, T.Haydon, L.Button

Matters Arising
1. Wareside were present to discuss fines outstanding. Committee agreed £35 to pay. Money to be given direct to Bob Flack.
2. The Salisbury was present to discuss fines outstanding. Committee agreed to reduce fine to £100 as long as paid by 6th June
Committee Members Reports
Secretary –
1. New applications have been sent to all Clubs regarding next season.
2. A further two cheques have been received via Herts FA in connection with the outstanding Hornets debt.
3. Letter to be sent to The Salisbury to confirm outcome of tonight’s meeting.
Fixtures Secretary -
1. All concluded for this current season. The proposed mid week games turned out to be a waste of time arranging as none actually took place and all were awarded as a Nil-Nil draw.
2. It was proposed to alleviate this problem next season the League should start earlier on the 9th September.
3. All fixtures must be played. Some clubs failed to fulfill their fixtures towards the end of the season as they deemed the match to be “irrelevant”. Next season fines will be issued.
4. Clubs will be allowed only 1 Sunday off during the course of the season.
Results Secretary –
1. ID cards still not being completed correctly. To aid Clubs a sample copy correctly filled in will be given to all.
Referees Secretary –
1. 200 misconduct reports have been received, this is not satisfactory.
2. Ron Bunce having taking a number of factors into account has decided not to stand as Referees Secretary next season.
Registrations Secretary / b. Promotions –
b. Nothing to report.
c. A laminated fines sheet has been prepared for ease of reference next season. This will be given to all Clubs. The League currently has 8 new Clubs joining next season.
Cup Competitions
1. These all went well with record attendance, despite the weather on the second Sunday and the lack of electricity (the League will apply for a refund)
2. Hornsmill accepted fine of £50 due to their player Rob Hogg entering the field of play during the LCC final on 13/5/07.
3. It had been noted that not all Hornsmill Old Boys accepted their awards. Club accepted this showed bad sportsmanship.
Division 1 Rep – Nothing to report.
Division 2 Rep – Nothing to report.
Trophies Secretary – New trophies were purchased and Cup at a cost of £233.82.

www.ehcsfl.co.uk has undergone a lot of improvement this weekend in preparation for the start of next season. Lee Button intends to include next season Match Reports, Video’s, Photographs, Press Releases, Contacts both Committee, Clubs and Referees, Rules, Fines, registration forms and Result Cards. Clubs input/comments would be gratefully received.
2. Next Management Committee meeting to be held on Monday 4 June 2007 at 8.00pm.
3. Annual General Meeting to be held on Wednesday 6 June 2007 at the Bengeo Club. Pre AGM commences at 8.00, followed by the AGM and then presentation evening at 9.00pm.
